Home Care Support Worker | Aged Care - Queanbeyan

Responsibilities 
- Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties and social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
- Be a friendly face and brighten someone's day by delivering compassionate care in clients’ homes.
- Domestic assistance will form a significant part of the role for both entry-level and experienced carers.
Qualifications & Requirements 
- Live in or near Queanbeyan including surrounding suburbs: Barton, Burra, Crestwood, Fyshwick, Googong, Griffith, Jerrabomberra, Karabar, Kingston, Narrabundah.
- Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no International licences or shared/rental vehicles).
- Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting.
- Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (weekend is a bonus).
- Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start (travel is required for training).
- Note: this is NOT a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home.
What this role offers

- Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts
- Permanent Contract hours: 30-40 hours per fortnight + flex up hours
- Hourly Rate: $32.86 - $34.16 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
