This is a great opportunity to work in a growing tennis program and help shape the future of tennis in the Blue Mountains.
FCX currently operates across multiple locations in the Blue Mountains, including Wentworth Falls and Blackheath, as well as coaching programs at local schools in the area, providing a variety of coaching opportunities and programs.
Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Head Tennis Coach and Tennis Coaches (Full-time, Part-time & Casual) to join our team. You will provide tennis instruction to individuals and groups, develop training programs, and offer guidance to enhance players' skills and performance. Additional responsibilities include maintaining high communication standards, delivering exceptional customer service, and participating in team development activities. Some admin work from home flexibility is available.
Qualifications
• Solid tennis coaching skills with a good understanding of technique and match play
• Able to communicate clearly with players, parents, and team members
• Experience coaching players of all levels (beginners to advanced)
• Well organised and able to manage schedules and sessions
• Professional, reliable, and takes responsibility seriously
• Positive, "can-do" attitude and a team player
• Passion for tennis and helping players improve
• Current Working With Children Check and First Aid certificate
• Tennis Australia coaching qualification (TA Junior Development or higher)
• Minimum 3 years coaching experience (for senior role)
• Higher accreditation (TA Club Professional or above) preferred for senior role
• Experience coaching other sports is a bonus
