What We Are Looking For
We're looking for a skilled and safety-focused
Plant Operator
to join our Infrastructure Operations team. You'll play a key role in delivering road and drainage works across the Fraser Coast by operating various plant and equipment. The role has become available due to increased project activity and offers the opportunity to be part of a supportive and professional crew.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Operate and maintain a variety of plant (e.g. loaders, excavators, rollers)
Perform daily inspections and basic servicing of machinery
Carry out road and drainage construction and maintenance tasks
Ensure safe and efficient work practices on site
Assist with labouring duties as required
Maintain accurate daily timesheets and equipment records

What You'll Need For Success
Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Current MR driver's licence
Demonstrated experience operating plant in civil construction/maintenance
Commitment to safety and compliance standards
Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills
What's Nice To Have
VOCs/licences for Excavator, Grader, Skidsteer, Backhoe or Front-End Loader
Current HC Licence
Knowledge of Council standards and procedures
Level 2 Traffic Management Implementation
