Assistant Planner Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Planner to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Development Planning sections, you will be responsible for undertaking research and providing support to staff.
This is a unique opportunity to utilize your problem-solving skills and analytical expertise to provide advice and assistance on development and land use matters. You will assist with development application assessments and provide information on Development Applications and associated meetings, while delivering exceptional customer service and technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Local Government Planning or a genuine motivation in pursuing a career in Town Planning. They will also possess strong administrative and customer service experience, advanced interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively as part of a team.
About This Role
* Undertake research and provide support to staff within the Development Planning sections.
