**Your new team
As a Finance Analyst, you'll collaborate closely with the Claims Reserving Lead to refine actuarial claims reserving processes and ensure seamless, accurate data between claims and the general ledger. Your role will be key in maintaining financial integrity and supporting effective decision-making.
**The role
- Responsibility of the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of complex financial models.
- Stakeholder management from multiple areas of the business.
- Identifying potential opportunities for improved efficiency of reporting and financial modelling.
- Continuous improvement through automation of current and future reporting requirements.
- Working collectively with various stakeholders to develop and continuously improve report building capabilities.
- Review ad hoc and deep-dive analysis.
- Other ad-hoc requirements as required to support the Group Finance division.
- Provision of data to various statistical bodies and for use in annual regulatory and industry specific reportingTake all reasonable directions from leaders to comply with the organisation's workplace health & safety (WHS) protocols. WHS is everyone's responsibility.
**What experience you'll bring
- 1-3 years of experience as a financial analyst
- Nearing or fully qualified CA, CFA or CPA or alternatively a similar level of qualification within mathematics, statistics and or computer science.
- Experience in statistical modelling and management reporting.
- Experience in relevant software programs - SQL, MS Excel and Tm1 Perspectives/PAfe.
- Ability to set priorities, analyse problems and articulate clear and effective solutions.Self-motivated team player with the ability to communicate complex data analysis clearly.
