What You'll Be Doing
We're looking for a passionate, energetic and engaging Clinical Manager to lead our oncology team.

You'll be responsible for providing clinical leadership and operational direction to ensure efficient and effective management of this vital service.

Your Leadership Role Will Include:
- Provide clinical leadership and operational direction for the Adult Day Oncology Unit

- Coordinate the delivery of evidence-based nursing care

- Ensure excellent patient and family-centred care in a team-focused environment

- Provide guidance, mentoring and support to your nursing team

- Manage human, financial and material resources effectively

- Undertake direct patient care as required

- Ensure compliance with ACQSHC National Standards

- Foster positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders

- Drive quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance
Essential Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

- At least 5 years' experience in Acute Oncology or Day Infusion setting

- Demonstrated management or in-charge experience

- Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams

- Strong knowledge of labour management principles

- Understanding of private health funding requirements

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution abilities

- High degree of computer literacy including MS Office and databases
Highly Desirable:
- EVI-Q credentialling for chemotherapy administration

- Postgraduate qualifications in relevant nursing speciality

- Postgraduate qualifications in management (or working towards)

- Understanding of Work, Health and Safety legislation

- Experience in quality improvement and change management
