Safety and Wellness Professional
As a seasoned Safety and Wellness Manager, you will be responsible for driving a proactive and high-performance safety and wellness culture across the Asia Pacific region. This strategic leadership role requires expertise in designing and implementing large-scale wellbeing programs with measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Safety and Wellness Excellence: Represent Health, Safety, Wellness, Risk, and Continuous Improvement at executive forums, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
* Strategic Framework Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive Wellbeing Framework, covering physical, mental, emotional, social, and workplace well-being, with a focus on sustainable and measurable outcomes.
* Governance and Compliance: Establish WHS and risk governance frameworks, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance operational performance and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
* Cross-Cultural Leadership: Foster an inclusive and culturally aware safety and wellness culture, respecting the diverse backgrounds of employees across Asia Pacific.
* Psychosocial Risk Management: Champion psychosocial safety, delivering evidence-based education, support programs, and assessment tools in line with emerging legislative requirements.
* Digital Transformation: Drive adoption of digital safety and risk management platforms, enhancing user engagement and accountability.
* Injury Management Leadership: Lead best-practice injury management, early intervention, and return-to-work programs, reducing injury costs and improving outcomes.
* Vendor Management: Build strategic partnerships with external providers, including EAP services, drug and alcohol testing, and health service providers.
* Continuous Improvement: Conduct internal audits, ensuring compliance with safety and risk standards and implementing best-practice improvements.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in a senior safety, wellness, or risk leadership role within a multi-jurisdictional or global environment.
* Strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk management frameworks, and psychosocial safety obligations across Australia and Asia.
* Proven success in designing and implementing large-scale wellbeing programs with measurable impact.
* Demonstrated cross-cultural leadership skills, with the ability to adapt safety and wellness strategies to diverse cultural contexts.
* Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills across all organizational levels.
* Experience managing external providers and service delivery contracts.
* Advanced problem-solving skills with a focus on prevention, early intervention, and continuous improvement.
