What you will be doing Reporting directly to the Manager, Election Venues, the Coordinator, Election Venues supports the sourcing and management of temporary venues used for election hubs, offices and voting centres across Victoria. The role coordinates venue set-up, operations and decommissioning during electoral events, ensuring sites are operational, compliant and ready to support election delivery. The position works closely with internal teams and field staff to manage venue logistics, resolve operational issues and may lead small teams to support election venue activities. This role will be responsible for: * Coordinating venue sourcing, assessment, set up and continuity of operations * Cross-functional collaboration to ensure venue acquisition meets operational, technology, security and OHS requirements * Maintaining procedures and supporting policy development in relation to venue acquisition and management * Assisting with issue management, risk identification, and reporting to leadership * What you will bring to the role * Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills * Exceptional verbal communication and stakeholder relationship management * Strong written communication skills and the ability to produce high quality business documentation * Previous experience in event management, facilities, logistics, or project management is highly desirable * Attention to detail and experience managing project documentation, tracking progress, and delivering to timelines * Commitment to the VEC's core values.
