As international demand accelerates, we are looking for a commercially driven consultant who wants more than a standard retail travel role. The Position This is an end-to-end sales and client management role where you will take ownership of the customer journey. You will have: Formal qualifications in tourism or tertiary education (Diploma level or above preferred) Current, hands-on experience within the travel industry is essential. Lived experience in Japan or substantial cultural and destination knowledge Strong understanding of Japan's regions, logistics and travel planning considerations Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills Confidence engaging with international clients via phone and video Strong organisational skills and self-management discipline High IT proficiency across CRM and business systems Flexibility to align working hours with global markets when required Japanese language capability (beneficial but not essential) This role extends beyond booking travel, you will actively influence growth strategy within a small, ambitious organisation.
