Business Analyst - Insurance / Guidewire Transformation - Fixed term contract - 14 months
A leading Australian insurer is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major transformation program across Policy, Billing, and Claims platforms. This role sits within the Strategy Implementation & Change team and acts as the critical link between business stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements across multiple functional areas.
* Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process mapping activities.
* Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for technology teams.
* Define acceptance criteria and support test planning and validation activities.
* Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, and vendors to ensure accurate delivery.
* Support training materials, end-user readiness, and post-implementation activities.
* Monitor progress of change requests and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders.
About You
* Strong experience as a Business Analyst across large-scale business or technology change.
* Background in general insurance or other regulated environments (highly desirable).
* Familiarity with Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) is advantageous.
* Skilled in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
* Ability to analyse data, processes, and systems and clearly communicate insights.
* Strong written communication and attention to detail.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
* Understanding of Agile delivery practices and tools (JIRA, Confluence).

Qualifications
