Solid Plasterer with knowledge in the preparation, repair, and finishing of interior and exterior surfaces of precast concrete elements using cement render or/and related materials, textured coatings and smooth surfaces. Skilled in correcting surface defects, restoring damaged areas, and applying multi-layered finishes to meet both structural and aesthetic standards. Demonstrates precision in surface preparation, material mixing and application, and the use of manual and power tools to achieve smooth, uniform, and high-quality finishes in line with project specifications.

Positions are full time or casual. The hourly rate is negotiable and dependent on skills and experience. Opportunities for overtime and the occasional Saturday's.
Responsibilities
- Performed rendering and plastering of concrete surfaces, applying and smoothing multiple layers of cement render and similar materials related with plaster to achieve consistent coverage and thickness.
- Conducted surface preparation and finishing, including the use of trowels, scrapers, and levelling tools, to ensure smooth and even textures on walls, panels, and structural elements.
- Repaired surface imperfections such as cracks, blowouts, holes, and bug holes using appropriate plastering techniques and materials, ensuring seamless integration with surrounding surfaces.
- Executed overcoating of defective precast panels as part of remedial rendering processes, followed by sanding to restore proper geometry and finish.
- Mixed and applied cement render, coating materials, grout, and slurry to fill voids and surface defects, in line with standard rendering and plastering practices.
- Carried out reconstruction and refinishing of damaged edges and corners, restoring clean lines and uniform profiles using plastering tools and methods.
- Marked, measured, and taped areas to prepare surfaces for plastering work, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
- Used power and hand tools to remove surface defects and irregularities, followed by final plastering or rendering treatment to deliver a clean, even finish.
- Selected abrasive stones and performed wet rubbing on concrete surfaces to produce desired textures and finishes as part of final plastering procedures.
