Job Title: Senior Manager, Incident & Crisis Management Education and Response
Location: Sydney (permanent, full-time role with flexibility and shared after-hours coverage)
What's the role?You'll play a key role in supporting how Westpac responds to incidents and crises across the Group. Working within Business Resilience, you'll help coordinate and lead incident and crisis responses, chair response meetings, and provide clear updates to senior leaders when disruptions occur. You'll work closely with teams across technology, cyber, risk and operations to ensure incidents are assessed quickly, the right response teams are mobilised, and services are restored as safely and efficiently as possible. You'll also support training, testing and post-incident reviews to improve how we prepare for and respond to future events. This role includes being part of an on-call roster to support incidents outside standard hours.
What do I need?You'll bring calm judgement, strong coordination skills and a collaborative approach, with:
* Experience supporting or leading incident or crisis response activities
* Confidence chairing forums and communicating with senior stakeholders
* Ability to assess issues, escalate risks and coordinate responses under pressure
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A practical mindset focused on learning, improvement and resilience
