About the Role
As an experienced Sales Estimator you will oversee numerous aspects within Estimating working closely with Sales, Operations and Construction for our Bespoke and Collection range.
Reporting to the Estimating Manager you will be responsible for;
* Sales Estimating
* Cost Estimates and provide Full take off and Full Tender Pricing which includes, base house pricing, site costs and clients wish lists for upgrades from base house pricing
* Maintenance and creation of alts including variation pril new producce book
* Experience in pricing single storey, double storey custom.
* Current working knowledge of the Residential Building Code and Australian Standards (BCA) / (NCC) required.
* Analytical skills and competency reading architectural plans, engineering and soil reports
* Strong numerical skills, high attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
* Exceptional communicator & Team Player
* Ability to proactively problem solve and troubleshoot
* Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes and additional information.
* Knowledge of Databuild preferred, excel a must.
* Resolve building issues with design items not being buildable to try to eliminate errors.
* Liaise with sales to resolve pricing issues or adjust to meet budget, modelling different mark-up scenarios to ensure the project fits the clients brief as closely as possible.
* Assist the Admin staff if issue arise on how to resolve a detail/price.
* Obtain quotes and provide pricing for variations for Admin, review requests.
* Provide reports and workflow documentation as appropriate
* Follow up documentations directed by the Estimating Manager
* Assist Production Estimating Team when required
About You

We anticipate that you will already possess strong experience within the construction industry specifically within Sales Estimating (essential for this opportunity –within the residential building space and you will possess a high level across certain software packages including DataBuild, TrueView/Blue Beam (Or similar), Framework, Click Homes Microsoft Office (Excel)
You will deliver with a mature approach, calm and efficiency. You will be able to prioritise with ease and deliver time critical outcomes amid numerous distractions and demands.
