Role & Responsibilities
- up and operate CNC, TMC, and VMC machines as per production requirements
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using SolidCAM and/or Mastercam
- Interpret technical drawings and machining instructions accurately
- Conduct first-piece inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Monitor in-process components and take corrective actions as needed
- Lead and manage a team of machine operators on the shop floor
- Assign daily tasks and ensure timely execution of production targets
- Optimize cutting parameters to improve efficiency and tool life
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues independently
- Coordinate with maintenance for machine upkeep and repairs
- Maintain workplace discipline, safety, and 5S standards
