The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity in our Disputes & Insolvency team for an Administration Assistant to join on a full‐time basis. In this role you will be supporting our team of Legal Secretaries with a range of administrative tasks whilst also gaining on‐the‐job mentoring, training and support.

This opportunity is well‐suited to a diligent, customer‐centric individual who enjoys working collaboratively and wants to progress in their professional and legal career.

The role

We are looking for an individual with transferable administrative experience and an entry‐level position to gain experience in legal practice. Accuracy, attention to detail and professionalism will be essential as you support our legal team and ensure that documents are prepared timely.

* Preparing basic legal documents and correspondence.
* Preparing and issuing monthly tax invoices.
* Receipting and payments.
* Filing documents with the Courts.
* Scheduling meetings and organising calendars.
* Diary management.
* File management, saving emails and correspondence to files.
* Directing telephone enquiries.
* Liaising with stakeholders, including clients, Lawyers, Barristers and Principals.
* Opening new files and undertaking conflict searches.
* Archiving files.
* Mailing out documents.
* Other general administrative tasks as required.
Role requirements

As this is a junior role we recognise you may not have prior experience. We value a high level of attention to detail, motivation, and a commitment to learn.

In addition, you will have
* Outstanding time management and a strong commitment to consistency.
* A natural inclination for taking initiative.
* A self‐starter who also thrives in a collaborative work environment.
* Confidence in building lasting relationships with colleagues and clients.
* In‐depth knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft 365 suite and a natural flair for technology.
