About The Role

The Family Day Care Business Support Officer is responsible for:

* Providing daily administrative and business support to the Team Leader Family Day Care and Field officers, including diary and email management, meeting coordination and correspondence preparation.
* Coordinating financial processes such as invoice processing, childcare subsidy calculations, educator payments and acquittal reporting.
* Maintaining accurate service records using Harmony and the Child Care Management System (CCMS), including data entry, reporting and system administration.
* Delivering quality customer service to educators, families and internal stakeholders.
* Supporting department-wide business functions and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensuring compliance with legislative, funding and policy requirements.
* Assisting with preparation of reports, briefing notes and project-related documentation.

About You

We are seeking an applicant who demonstrates:

* Strong administrative capability with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
* High-level written and verbal communication skills.
* Sound knowledge of (or ability to rapidly learn) CCMS, Harmony and related systems.
* Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
* Ability to interpret and apply government childcare funding requirements.
* Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
