About Switchboard Operator
As a key member of the hospital team, you will be responsible for managing a central hub of information, handling calls and ensuring that all callers are treated with politeness and courtesy.
The Switchboard operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing an essential service to staff, patients, relatives and external agencies. This role requires high levels of communication skills, as well as the ability to operate and manage complex systems, including Hospital Paging.
* Hospital Switchboard operations – Ensuring timely and effective handling of incoming calls
* Demonstrating exceptional communication skills, tailored to Switchboard functions
* Managing Hospital Paging system to facilitate efficient communication across the facility
* Capturing and coordinating Emergency Codes, while maintaining confidentiality and discretion
* Furnishing accurate patient information in a prompt and courteous manner
Key Qualifications:
