With more than 330 beds, a modern ICU, and strong links to the University of Tasmania, the hospital provides high-quality care across a broad range of specialties including medicine, surgery, oncology, intensive care, and emergency services.The Infectious Diseases Department delivers inpatient and outpatient care, critical care consultation, and antimicrobial stewardship, while working closely with microbiology, public health, and hospital-wide clinical teams.
As Head of Department, you'll guide service delivery, contribute to teaching and research, and play a leading role in shaping infection management for the region.
Whilst primarily an ID Physician role, there is the option to include Clinical Microbiology, in addition to ID Physician role for a suitably qualified candidate.
