Project Overview:
Perth Airport is a 24/7 operational airport in Western Australia, serving as the 'Western Gateway' to Australia. The airport is undergoing a major $5 BN (AUD) redevelopment over the next 7 years which will see the consolidation of the airport terminals into "one airport", a new parallel runway, and construction of supporting airport infrastructure including associated roadworks, the airport's first hotel and two multi-storey car parks. Working in an integrated client management team as the Capital Portfolio Partner, Bechtel will initially be responsible for 1) leading the development of the systems, tools and processes, required by the integrated client team, to successfully plan and manage the redevelopment works, and 2) developing the portfolio cost & schedule baseline.
Job Summary:
Responsible for the effective leadership and direction to deliver the Jet Fuel Expansion Program.
Major Responsibilities:
Direction of the program required to deliver the planned new Jet Fuel Expansion within defined cost, time, quality, risk, environmental and safety imperatives.
Effective planning, budgeting and resource management
Implement program controls, monitoring systems andprogress reporting to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Client-side project leadership and management of major jet fuel or related oil and gas construction projects.
A thorough understanding of all forms of construction contract and construction procurement strategies including experience of the complete lifecycle of major infrastructure projects from initiation though design and construction to completion/handover.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of jet fuel or ground-based fuel developments, operations, development and standards including evidence of understanding and application of the principles of risk and value management.
Professional qualification in engineering, project management or oil and gas related field or relevant equivalent experience .
Excellent knowledge of construction health and safety requirements and legislation.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Commercial awareness – ensure PAPLs strategic requirements and contractual obligations are met in an environment which involves oil majors and global airlines
Focuses on performanceensuring accountability for self and others.
Communicates effectively - shares and receives information in a clear, compelling, and concise manner whilst maintaining PAPL's confidentiality obligations
Leads and engages people to maximise team and individual performance, which are aligned to the goals of the program and the values of the business.
Collaborates effectively and proactively, leveraging working relationships with stakeholders to build strong connections, cooperation and collaboration.
Directs and plans works, aligning resources effectively and efficiently, using good planning and time management to accurately scope the length and difficulty of tasks.
