About You
* You're a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Business/Commerce or similar
* You have over 3 years of experience in public practice
* You possess strong interpersonal communication skills
* You have experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for small to medium enterprises
* It would be a plus if you have:
o A primary production interest and/or experience
o Experience with tax planning and strategy development
o Proficiency in Xero
The Role
As a Chartered Accountant, you'll:
* Deliver financial statements, tax returns, activity statements, and interim financial statements for clients
* Develop expertise in efficient tax strategies, preparing forecasts, reporting, and advice on business structures
* Present financial performance to clients
* Review other team members' financials providing feedback on quality and efficiency
* Identify potential opportunities that Dodgshun Medlin could be assisting the clients with
* Support team training and mentoring, including transfer of technical skills and knowledge
