Kitchen Hand – Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant
Overview of the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Kitchen Hand to support the kitchen team at Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant. This role is rostered across a 7-day operation and is essential to maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas
* Assisting chefs with basic food preparation as required
* Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen, storage and back-of-house areas
* Supporting kitchen operations during service periods
* Ensuring food safety, hygiene and WHS standards are followed at all times
Skills & Experience
* Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential
* Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Availability
* Flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
* Willingness to work a variety of shifts within a 7-day roster
