About The Role:
We're partnering with a fast-growing Australian eCommerce retailer that's looking for a General IT Specialist to join their technology team. This is a varied and hands-on role where you'll support IT systems, eCommerce platforms, integrations, and internal applications — all while contributing to continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Report to the Head of IT and manage incoming support requests via the IT Help Desk
* Provide support across Microsoft and Apple environments
* Assist with the administration of eCommerce platforms (BigCommerce experience highly regarded) and ERP systems (NetSuite a bonus)
* Support and maintain data flows, integrations, and middleware tools (e.g. Celigo)
* Contribute to website updates, theme adjustments, and customer experience improvements
* Help maintain and develop internal IT systems and applications
* Provide support for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure smooth order fulfilment
* Support retail operations and in-store systems, as well as servers, networks, and databases
* Collaborate with the Head of IT on innovation projects that enhance staff and customer experiences
Skills & Experience
* Previous IT help desk support experience
* Experience supporting both Microsoft and Apple desktop platforms
* Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (BigCommerce a plus)
* Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite highly regarded)
* Understanding of HTML, CSS, and web technologies
* Ability to troubleshoot and support cloud/webservice-based applications
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Nice to have:
* Exposure to frontend or backend web development
* Knowledge of .NET or another development language
* IT or Web Development qualification (or related discipline)
