The Office of the Health Ombudsman (OHO) is undertaking a Business Systems Renewal (BSR) project to upgrade its core information and communication technology systems. This transformative initiative aims to modernise core business systems, improve data integrity, and enhance reporting capabilities to support the OHO's strategic objectives and operational efficiency.

This role will work with the Executive Director Corporate and Strategic Services and team leaders in the delivery of this major digital transformation initiative, coordinating end-to-end implementation to help ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

In This Role You Will

- Develop a comprehensive business case, conducting a procurement process, and overseeing the build, testing, and deployment of the new system(s).
- Coordinate decision making process across teams, agency stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure alignment with organisational goals and successful project outcomes.
- Draft the project and related plans, monitor, and implement the BSR project, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards, business requirements, and are delivered within agreed timeframes and budgets.
- Establish, influence, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the OHO and fostering ongoing collaboration through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms, and management of expectations.
