As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen (breakfast lunch or dinner ). You will ensure dishes are prepared to the highest quality and work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver a smooth and professional kitchen operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and take responsibility for your assigned kitchen section
* Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards
* Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation
* Support and mentor junior staff (e.g., Commis Chefs)
* Maintain high hygiene and safety standards (HACCP)
* Assist with stock control and proper storage of ingredients
* Communicate effectively with the rest of the kitchen team
* Help in the development of new menu items and daily specials
Requirements
* Previous experience as Chef de Partie or strong experience as Demi Chef
* Culinary training or equivalent hands-on experience
* Good knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
* Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
* Passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail
* Team player with good communication skills
