Residential Building Insurance Claims Professional
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Residential Building Insurance Claims Professional.
This role involves conducting thorough inspections of residential properties, evaluating damage, and preparing detailed reports for insurance claims. The successful candidate will have experience in the building industry, excellent customer service skills, and intermediate computer skills.
The ideal candidate will be well-presented, organized, and self-motivated, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also possess relevant trade qualifications and a current driver's license.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct on-site property inspections to determine the cause and extent of damage.
* Evaluate damage and prepare detailed reports for insurance claims.
* Estimate quantities and costs of materials and labor.
* Communicate proactively with policyholders and trade repair partners.
* Ensure repairs are delivered to a high standard of quality and expertise.
* Project manage a range of residential property claims, including total losses.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in the building industry.
* Relevant trade qualifications (carpenter desired).
* Current driver's license.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel).
* Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code.
