Child Protection Counselling Service Job Opportunity
This is a temporary leave relief position with the possibility of extension. We are looking for a qualified Social Worker/Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist to join our Child Protection Counselling Service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive direct clinical experience providing counselling for people who have experienced violence, abuse, neglect and trauma.
The successful candidate will provide clinical supervision, assessments, therapeutic case management, and ongoing counselling to children and their carers who have experienced domestic violence, physical abuse, or neglect. They will be based at Nowra Community Health Centre and Warilla Community Health Centre, with some outreach throughout the Illawarra region.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical supervision to junior staff members.
* Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for children and their carers.
* Deliver ongoing counselling services to children and their carers.
Requirements:
* A degree in Social Work or Psychology.
* Current registration with AHPRA.
* Eligibility for Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) membership.
* A valid NSW driver's licence.
Working Arrangements:
This is a temporary part-time position, working 24 hours per week until 28 June 2026. There may be opportunities for extension or permanent employment in the future. You will work from our Nowra Community Health Centre or Warilla Community Health Centre, with occasional outreach to other locations in the Illawarra region.
