About the role:
An excellent full-time opportunity exists for an experienced and dynamic individual who thrives in the challenge of a fast-paced environment to start immediately. To be considered for this role you must be a highly organised and intuitive person with a passion to provide outstanding support to the Family Law Team and a high quality of service to our clients.
Responsibilities include:
* Communicating with clients, barristers, experts and mediators in writing and by telephone
* Organising mediations
* Preparation of correspondence and documents (including Court documents)
* Electronic filing of documents on the Commonwealth Court Portal
* Preparation of electronic briefs of documents and discovery
* Preparation of client invoices and workflows
* Diary management
* Opening, maintaining and closing files
* Performing various administrative tasks in support of solicitors
* Proactively provide support to solicitors and other team members
What are we looking for:
* Previous experience in Family Law
* Strong computer literacy and IT skills with an ability to learn and apply new software applications
* Willingness to learn IT systems including AI prompting
* Exceptional Word and formatting skills
* An ability to engage with people at all levels and work collaborative with the team
* Exceptional organisational capability
* Superior communication skills
* Initiative, flexibility and confidence
