Role Overview
We are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager who can build our customer base from the ground up. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role responsible for driving revenue, acquiring new clients, and establishing long-term partnerships.
You won't just be selling packaging—you'll be helping build a brand, open markets, and drive the company's growth journey.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Business Growth
Identify, approach, and acquire new clients across e-commerce, FMCG, retail, logistics, and manufacturing sectors
Develop and execute aggressive business development strategies to drive rapid revenue growth
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting to deal closure
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Client Acquisition & Relationship Building
Build strong relationships with decision-makers, procurement teams, and business owners
Understand client requirements and propose tailored, high-value packaging solutions
Lead commercial discussions, pricing negotiations, and contract closures
Ensure excellent client onboarding and long-term account growth
Market Expansion
Identify new market opportunities, industries, and high-potential clients
Help establish the company's presence in new regions and segments
Represent the company in industry events, networking forums, and client meetings
Strategic Contribution (Startup Role)
Contribute to sales strategy, pricing models, and go-to-market planning
Provide market insights to leadership to help shape product offerings
Work closely with operations, sourcing, and leadership teams to scale the business.

Requirements
Required Experience & Qualifications
Essential
5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in packaging, printing, logistics, or manufacturing
Strong track record of acquiring new clients and closing deals
Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
Preferred
Experience in corrugated, flexible, carton, or custom packaging solutions
Existing network in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
