About the Role:
The Domestic Support Worker position involves assisting clients in maintaining their ability to manage daily tasks safely, securely, and healthily within their home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining a clean and safe living space for clients
* Washing clothes or arranging for laundry services
* Purchasing groceries and delivering them to clients' homes
* Carefully washing and ironing clothing
* Cleaning dishes after meals
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience working in aged care settings is desirable but not essential
* Holding current First Aid & CPR certifications
* Current Police Clearance obtained within 12 months of issue
* Completing the NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module
* Completing the NDIS 'Supporting Effective Communication' module
* Possessing a NDIS Worker Screening Check
* A valid Working with Children Check
* Holding full Australian work rights
* Possessing an Australian Driver's License and access to a vehicle
* Demonstrating positive attitudes and flexibility in scheduling shifts
* Displaying reliability and proactivity in work
