About the Role:
WorkPac is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our client, a leading global manufacturer and supplier of heavy engineering products.
This position is based in their Mt Thorley workshop.
Hours:
Day Shift: 7:00am 3:30pm
Afternoon Shift: 3:30pm 12:00am
What you will be doing:
- Perform mechanical preparation using brush and roll techniques
- Carry out structural steel painting in line with specifications
- Sandblasting preparation and application
- Apply zinc, epoxy, and polyurethane 2-pack paints
- Operate conventional and airless spray painting equipment
- Maintain strict adherence to WHS procedures and safe work practices
What you will need:
- Previous experience in industrial painting
- Strong knowledge of paint applications and surface preparation
- White Card
- Drivers licence
