Receptionist/Administration

About the Business:
Dickfos Dunn Accountants is a reputable Tax and Audit Services firm on the Gold Coast and we are seeking a Receptionist/Administrator to join our busy administration team.
As Receptionist and Administrator this important role requires a positive attitude and willingness to learn together with your prior experience and abilities you can bring to the role.
Tasks will include but not be limited to:
* Daily mail collection and drop off.
* Answering phones/taking messages/attending to emails.
* Making calendar appointments for Partners.
* Greeting and assisting clients.
* Keeping the reception area tidy and organised.
* Organising and following up the collection of client tax returns and documents.
* Opening mail, downloading ATO mail, distributing to staff/clients, maintaining mail register and processing outgoing mail.
* Checking Assessment Notices and other ATO correspondence to go to clients and preparation of cover letters.
* Daily receipting of all incoming payments from clients.
* Entering monthly disbursements to our WIP for billing to clients.
* Payment of mid-month creditors and month end creditors.
* Maintenance of Trust Account money for clients including Trust Account monthly reconciliation and liaising with Trust Account auditor when required.
* Additional support to the Administration Team when required.
This role requires the following attributes:
* High attention to detail.
* You must be able to prioritise work, multitask and meet required deadlines.
* Willingness to learn and the ability to follow instructions and existing procedures.
* Reception/Administration experience, preferably in an accounting environment.
* Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
Full training and support from our well-established friendly administration team will be provided.
