The NSW Department of Education are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join Identity and Access Management area within the Information Technology Directorate (ITD) that delivers state-of-the-art information and communications technology (ICT) to over 100,000 employees and over 800,000 students in more than 2,200 public schools across NSW, as well as supporting staff at more than 90 offices around the state.
**About the role**
The Technical Support Specialist is an integral member of a dedicated team that supports the Department's Identity practice, services, and data management initiatives. This role involves providing expert technical assistance and guidance to ensure the seamless operation of identity-related systems and services. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering technical support and expertise in the ICT field. Your key tasks will include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, as well as implementing new technologies to enhance our operations.
