FR5 is one of Australia's accredited tools under the Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS), used by Thermal Performance Assessors (TPAs) to simulate and compare residential heating and cooling energy demands, producing certificates for National Construction Code (NCC) compliance.The FR5 desktop application, developed in Java (Swing), is a mature and widely adopted product.
