Our Townsville team has an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to be part of our highly valued Allied Health team.
Focused on supporting our community clients, you will strive to improve or maintain their independent functioning in all aspects of living.
This role encompasses evaluation, consultation and treatment.
About you
Demonstrated clinical knowledge and ability to competently assess functional ability of clients in a community setting.
Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and review collaborative OT services.
Demonstrated ability to work within a community based multidisciplinary team environment, including the capacity to negotiate with a range of stakeholders, operate flexibly, and have the capacity to problem solve.
Ability to work autonomously, plan and prioritise work effectively.
Mandatory Requirements
A degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA
First Aid Certificate with CPR
A National Police Certificate
Current Driver's Licence
Membership (or eligibility) with the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists, Queensland
