We're seeking highly motivated professionals to join our Operations & Maintenance team in Queensland. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance and repair, with experience working on utility-scale solar or renewable projects.
Job Description
As a Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of renewable energy sites. This includes managing and leading a safety culture towards zero harm, ensuring compliance with all site and business safety requirements, and interfacing with clients and stakeholders on coordination of activities and required documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and lead a safety culture towards zero harm
* Ensure compliance with all site and business safety requirements
* Interface with clients and stakeholders on coordination of activities and required documentation
* Supervise technicians and contractors; ensure compliance with WHSE requirements
* Ensure all site and company-wide KPIs are met and all compliance inspections are completed as required
You'll also be responsible for preparing reports for the client (routine, ITPs, progress, etc.), managing subcontractors and procurement, and overseeing operational and technical project management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Minimum 2 years of Operations & Maintenance experience on utility-scale solar or renewable projects (or transferable experience)
* Experience in a Site Manager role is highly desirable
* Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics preferred
* Electrical licence for the relevant state (preferred)
* LVR/CPR certificate
* First Aid certificate
As an Electrical Technician, you'll be responsible for performing routine and advanced maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems. You'll diagnose and resolve complex issues, repairing or replacing faulty components as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement maintenance SOPs, provide training, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain accurate records
You'll also be responsible for leading and mentoring junior technicians, collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations, and responding promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
