Who you are


You are an experienced and forward thinking professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys leading people and systems to deliver high quality outcomes. You will provide expert guidance on policy, governance, resource management, planning and workforce coordination, ensuring the School thrives now and into the future.



What you'll do


As School Manager, you will:

* Provide high?level strategic and operational advice to senior academic leaders.
* Lead School support staff to deliver exceptional administrative, teaching, facilities, compliance, and health and safety services.
* Drive School planning, budgeting, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
* Oversee financial management, including budget submissions, sessional funding and HDR allocations.
* Coordinate academic workload processes and ensure effective, equitable distribution of resources.
* Lead business process improvements in partnership with central divisions and other schools.
* Manage complex projects, analyse data, and prepare strategic reports and briefing papers.
* Support engagement, outreach, promotional activities and major events.
* Represent the School on committees and working groups across UniSQ.

* Postgraduate qualifications or substantial equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated capability in managing diverse resources, including staff, budgets, facilities and assets.
* Strong leadership, people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Excellent financial literacy, organisational skills and strong communication skills, with a solutions focussed mindset.

Term: Full-time continuing appointment (36 hours/week)

Salary: Total remuneration range $133,806 to $153,649 pa (includes salary range of $112,845 to $129,580 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
