Advocacy and Communications Graduate Program
This 18-month graduate program provides the opportunity to develop a career in advocacy and communications. You will work across Government & Public Policy and Corporate Communications teams, helping drive RAA's advocacy and thought leadership initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Draft high-quality content aligned with RAA's key priorities.
* Monitor media activities and emerging trends, providing insights and recommendations.
* Help create engaging content for media, social media, and digital platforms.
* Review and enhance the advocacy content on RAA's websites.
* Contribute to public policy positions for RAA's leaders and spokespeople.
* Draft public policy positions aligned with RAA's key priorities.
* Conduct research and analysis on emerging issues, providing written and verbal insights and recommendations.
* Support other functions within the Government & Public Policy and Corporate Communications teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* An undergraduate degree in public policy, political science, communications or a related field.
* Experience in customer service, retail and/or hospitality is highly desirable.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong research and analytical skills.
* A team player with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
* A GPA of 5.0 or higher.
