This fully remote role is full of variety, quirks and queries like no other. An exceptional Human Resource Assistant works with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with all governing bodies is retained, dreams big and contributes positively through integrity, professionalism and a thirst for excellence.
Sharps Australia is heading toward an exciting and purposeful new challenge and we are looking for a fellow comrade who will join us on this journey. Drawing on your minimum 2+ years of experience and being able to showcase your core and soft skills, particularly in talent acquisition, will grab our attention In addition to sound AUS Payroll knowledge surrounding award interpretation across the Miscellaneous and Clerical Award, will be highly advantageous. Whilst not a requirement, any travel agency experience will also be favourable.

Ideally with a wide range of exposure to hr generalist activities, we would be thrilled to have the Human Resource Assistant online for approx. 3 days per week {with potential to possibly increase hours as role evolves over time} and be comfortable in helping knock over some of these daily goals:
Maintaining Payroll & HRIS platform with accurate data entry and checks
Investigating and resolving queries via email & phone
Performing manual calculations & reconciliations to both process and review existing data including but not limited to overtime, travel, allowances, tax and leave balances
Providing support to the management team and wider business
Other ad-hoc duties as reasonably required and may involve some out of business hours work
