About the Role
Open Sky Disability Services is seeking an experienced Female Support Worker to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team in Mandurah, WA. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred support to a high-care client in a Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) home environment.
Shift Schedule:
* Shift Schedule:
* 2:00 PM – next day 7:15 AM (includes inactive sleepover from 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, paid break onsite)
Apart from above
* 7:00 AM – 2:15 PM
* 9 AM - 11 AM or 9 AM - 4 PM or 11 AM - 4 PM
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide daily living assistance and personal care
* Safely operate full hoist and Sara Steady equipment
* Support high-care clients with dignity and respect
* Monitor and record BSL checks (Blood Sugar Levels)
* Administer medication in accordance with competency training
* Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation
* Support clients with community participation and household tasks
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience in SIL/SDA environments and high-care or low-care support
* Full Hoist and Sara Steady operation experience
* Medication Competency Certificate
* Manual Handling Certificate
* Experience performing BSL checks
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable transport
