About the Role
Right at Home is seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our Gold Coast team. We provide in-home support services that empower people with disability to live independently and enjoy a fulfilling life.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will deliver person-centred care that promotes independence, community inclusion, and personal choice. You'll work closely with clients, families, and our care team to support individual needs and goals.
Shifts available: Gold Coast region, with an average of hours per week. Services are generally between 6am–6pm Monday to Friday, with passive sleepover shifts available.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care, including assistance with daily living activities.
* Support overnight needs during passive sleepover shifts.
* Assist with mobility, manual handling, and exercise routines.
* Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community activities.
* Assist with domestic tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
* Implement behaviour support strategies, including restrictive practices when required.
* Document care provided and follow individual service plans.
* Collaborate with families, carers, and professionals to support client goals.
What You'll Need
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability).
* Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check & Orientation Module Certificate.
* Police Clearance.
* Open Australian Driver's Licence with comprehensive Insurance
* Reliable vehicle.
* Valid working rights in Australia.
* Smartphone with internet access.
