What you’ll do
* Obtain and review medical, financial, investigative and rehabilitation reports to assist in the accurate assessment of individual claims.
* Ensure legislative compliance timeframes are met in conjunction with ongoing review of medical, financial investigative and rehabilitation reports.
* Adopt appropriate strategies to resolve claims cost effectively.
* Ensure early access to appropriate rehabilitation so that injured claimants can achieve optimal recovery from their injuries.
* Provide an excellent level of customer service to the legislative authority, employers and injured workers through compliance with legislation, timely response times and efficiency in processing.
What you’ll bring
* Previous Workers Compensation claims or personal injury claims experience with a track record for delivering results.
* Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for the customer.
* Allied Health experience desirable.
* Excellent verbal communication skills – listen, build rapport, communicate complex information and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders included claimants, third-party providers, external bodies and internal teams.
* Strong administrative and written skills and the ability to effectively manage all aspects of each claim within the restraints of the State legislation.
* Strong commitment and a high degree of integrity to help meet and exceed customer expectations.
