Prenatal screenings can be an anxious and trying part of the pregnancy and reproductive journey. With a calming and welcoming manner you will provide quality phlebotomy services to patients in the clinics as well as administrative support to the Nursing Team. With exceptional service, underpinned by compassion and attention to detail, you will directly enhance the patient experience. Under guidance from your Nurse Manager, your responsibilities include: Providing quality phlebotomy services Providing patients with exceptional care and support Conveying low-risk tests results to patients Collecting consent forms and updating and maintaining accurate patient records Ensuring compliance of protocols and best practice Packing and dispatching samples in accordance with the agreed time frames and protocols Maintaining and stocking consumables Liaising with external GP’s, specialists and their staff Providing general administrative support to the Nursing Team Report all patient accidents / incidents Demonstrating commitment towards the Monash IVF Mission and Principles Are you the ideal candidate for us? The ideal candidate will see their role as vital to the success of the organisation. Understanding there are ups and down in pregnancy and reproductive health, our phlebotomist will be sensitive to the needs of patients and will support their wellbeing through timely and considered communication. To be considered for this role, it is essential you will bring: Certificate in Pathology or Phlebotomy A proficient venepuncture technique Ideally you will bring: Exceptional interpersonal skills and well-developed communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work cohesively within a multi-disciplinary team Superior time management skills with proven ability to multitask Demonstrable medical/specialist reception and administrative experience Closing Date: 16 June 2025 (unless filled prior) Brit Prasad HR Business Partner 0428 575 387 Brittany.Prasad@monashivf.com
