Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the Greater Perth Area for a Site Manager specializing in Commercial Construction. The Site Manager will oversee daily operations at construction sites, manage subcontract, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, monitoring project progress, managing budgets, resolving on-site issues, and ensuring on-time and on-budget project delivery while maintaining a focus on stakeholder satisfaction and clear communication.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of construction management, project planning, and site operations.
* Experience in managing subcontractors, overseeing site activities, and maintaining safety standards.
* Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and contract management in the commercial construction industry.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong leadership decision‑making capabilities, and excellent organizational skills.
* Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities to liaise with clients, suppliers, and team members.
* Proficiency in construction project management software and relevant tools is a plus.
* Relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Professional certification or license is advantageous.
* Prior experience in commercial construction with exposure to diverse sectors such as healthcare, education, and government infrastructure is highly valuable.
