**Your day as an Assistant Buyer**:
- Providing support and assistance to the Buyer.
- Analysis of business opportunities and identify potential clients.
- Managing supplier liaison.
- Running general ad-hoc reports as required with accuracy.
- Managing fit sessions.
- Comp shop analysis.
- Involvement in story board management.
- Completing advertising briefs.
- Preparing financial figures.
**Some things we are looking for in an Assistant Buyer**:
- Proven experience working in a similar role within the retail industry.
- Previous experience with apparel.
- Strong Administration experience.
- **Product Development experience will be highly regarded.**:
- A passion for the product that is balanced with commercial acumen.
- Able to communicate at all levels.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Show initiative to contribute to a team in order to grow your portfolio.
- Flexible in your approach.
- Exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Be achievement orientated and results driven.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Have a down to earth attitude and able to put yourself in the customers shoes.
