About The Team

Your New Role!
- Research Associate (ACLEA) _key responsibilities will include:

- Actively contributing to the research project by collaborating with the Research Team to successfully deliver the project milestones and key performance indicators.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of research through relevant literature review, and collaborating with internal and external experts, including industry partners.
- Supervise students where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of workflows and data.
- Research Fellow (ACLEB) _key responsibilities will include:

- Contribution to research, individually, and as a member of a team, and produce quality publications.
- Consult and provide advice to undergraduate, postgraduate and HRD students.
- Supervise honours, master's by coursework, and HDR students.
- Contribute to the Institute, the University the University, the profession and the discipline.
- Participate in the University's Academic Contribution Development (ACDR).
- Undertake such other duties as determined by the Senior Postdoctoral Fellow.

What We Offer You!

This Fixed Term (1 Year) | Full Time (37.5 hours per week) position attracts a remuneration of $78,000 - $105,000 (ACLEA) | $111,000 - $131,000 (ACLEB) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What you'll bring to the role:

- Research Associate (ACLEA)_
- Completion of a relevant graduate qualification, and preferably an Honours degree; in combination with experience in a relevant area.
- Strong experience in vertebrate ecology or zoology.
- Ability to work under broad direction only, exercise initiative in undertaking responsibilities and work effectively as a team member.
- Ability to engage in high quality independent research.
- Capacity to generate research funding; independently or as part of a research team.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary and collegial team.
- High levels of written and oral communication skills in English.
- Research Fellow (ACLEB) _key responsibilities will include:

- PhD in an area relevant to the position.
- Ability to work under broad direction only, exercise initiative in undertaking responsibilities and work effectively as a team member.
- Demonstrated ability to engage in high quality independent research, with an established record of scholarly publications.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to successfully supervise honours, postgraduate and HDR students.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary and collegial team.
- Demonstrated high levels of written and oral communication skills in English.
