About the Role
The Safety Advisor will be part of our site-based construction delivery team to support the delivery of the North East Link Central Package.

Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the implementation and monitoring of processes and programs to ensure a safe working environment.
* Conducting health and safety audits and inspections as per schedules and risk profiles.
* Supporting the delivery team to ensure compliance with construction documentation; providing specialist advice and monitoring implementation.
* Undertaking safety monitoring activities, ensuring compliance with safety management systems, legislation, and contractual requirements.
Minimum Requirements
* Certificate IV or higher in Safety or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in Safety roles within high-risk construction environments.
* Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors is highly desirable.
* Extensive knowledge of workplace and contractor safety management processes in complex settings.
* Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
* Experience supporting or leading incident investigations and developing reports with corrective actions.
* Experience conducting safety inspections and audits, with ability to develop reports and follow-up on corrective actions.
