The Security Risk Analyst is a senior advisor and practitioner within the Bureau's Security Risk, Threat and Vulnerability team, reporting to the Security Risk, Threat and Vulnerability Manager. This role leads the assessment and management of security risks and provides expert guidance to support secure, resilient service delivery across the organisation.
The position delivers specialist advice across all protective security domains—governance, risk, information, technology, personnel and physical—and plays a central role in uplifting the Bureau's security risk posture. A key focus of the role is enabling the Bureau's System Authorisation capability and strengthening enterprise security governance and risk assessment practices.
Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners, the Security Risk Analyst ensures that security risks are understood, effectively managed, and aligned with the Bureau's strategic objectives and obligations under the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and the Information Security Manual (ISM).
