About the business and role
24/7 Interior Projects delivers commercial interior fit-outs and refurbishments across Western Australia, including office, retail and hospitality projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our construction and interior fit‑out team. The role involves managing construction costs across multiple projects, from feasibility and tendering through to project delivery and final accounts.
Key duties and responsibilities
* Preparing and managing detailed cost plans, estimates and project budgets
* Preparing bills of quantities, tender documentation and tender evaluations
* Reviewing architectural and engineering drawings, specifications and contracts to assess cost implications
* Monitoring project costs, cash flow and forecasting expenditure
* Assessing, valuing and negotiating variations, progress claims and final accounts
* Providing cost advice during feasibility, design development and procurement stages
* Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal project teams
* Assisting with contract administration from a cost management perspective
* Preparing cost reports and financial summaries for management and clients
* Supporting project delivery through ongoing cost control, reporting and risk identification
Skills and experience required
* Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or a related field
* Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in a Quantity Surveyor or similar role
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, cost management and contract administration
* Experience in commercial construction or interior fit-outs highly regarded
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
