A major international textile manufacturing group is seeking an experienced Knitting Factory Manager to lead a large-scale circular knitting operation within a vertically integrated textile manufacturing complex in Bangladesh. The facility produces predominantly synthetic performance fabrics for technical apparel used by global outdoor, sportswear, and lifestyle brands. The role is responsible for stabilising production, improving machine efficiency, and strengthening the integration between knitting, dyeing, and finishing operations. This is a hands-on operational leadership role suited to a senior knitting professional who understands the realities of high-volume textile production and can deliver measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and delivery performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead the full operation of the circular knitting factory Manage production planning, machine utilisation, and output Drive improvements in productivity and efficiency Ensure fabrics meet international brand quality standards Work closely with dyeing and finishing teams Support technical teams developing new fabric constructions Team Leadership: Lead production managers, supervisors, engineers, and technicians Build technical capability within the local team Maintain strong discipline around safety, quality, and delivery Critical Requirements 15 years in textile manufacturing Strong background in circular knitting operations Experience working with synthetic filament yarns (polyester/nylon) Track record in managing large textile production teams Experience in improving factory efficiency and operational performance Degree in Textile Engineering or related discipline A s trong understanding of circular knitting technology, synthetic yarn behaviour in knitting processes, fabric construction and defect prevention, production planning, capacity management and machine efficiency optimisation Experience working in export-oriented textile operations in Bangladesh, serving international brands, is highly advantageous.
