About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and well-organised Warehouse & Logistics Officer to support our warehouse operations and installation teams on a part-time basis, with a clear pathway to full-time employment.

This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are accurately prepared, stock levels are maintained, and warehouse operations run safely and efficiently. Technical training on solar and battery bill of material will be provided by the Decarby team, along with ongoing support.

Hours of Work

* General operating hours: 7:00am – 11:00aM
* Flexibility available by mutual agreement, depending on workload and availability
* Opportunity to increase hours and transition to full-time as the business grows

Key Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day warehouse tasks, including stock control and warehouse tidiness
* Prepare and stage solar, battery, and electrical materials for installation teams before they go to site
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering low or critical items
* Maintain inventory records using basic software tools
* Ensure compliance with WHS and safety requirements
* Assist with basic administrative tasks related to inventory and deliveries
* Liaise with installation teams to ensure materials are ready on time

Skills & Experience

* Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse or logistics role
* Australian work rights are required for this position
* Competent with basic software, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Good understanding of workplace safety requirements
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable (but not essential)

* Experience in a solar, electrical, or construction-related business
* Familiarity with solar and battery bill of materials (BOM)
